CADC thanks each and everyone of you who participated and came out to see us perform at Light Up downtown!
As we bid a fond farewell to Rhonda; we are thankful for her 25+ year tenure and we wish her the best on her way to Florida.
Please welcome Marie Burfield to CADC as our new Office Manager.
Marie has been involved in dance since she was a small child dancing at Margaret Appel’s Dance Studio.
She has been a ” Dance Mom” for over 30 years. Both daughters Ashley and Katie danced with Candy Apples Dance Center. Katie having the lead as Sandy in CADC’s production of Grease.
Marie most recently has been active in sewing and creating costumes for competition teams.
On top of this we are pleased to have a registered nurse as our Office Manager and on faculty.
Marie will be assisted by another long time ” Dance Mom” Annette Crawford. Annette’s daughter Olivia alumni of CADC was a national title holder for Energy two years ago.
We feel we will be in good hands with both of these ladies as they become the hub of Candy Apples!
Stop by and introduce yourself the first week!
We asked our “Dance Mom’s” why they choose CADC year after year, here’s what a few of them had to say!
Lori Jones-Stokes 19 years ago we walked into CADC and they met us with open arms and we have been family ever since. All five of my children danced at CADC at one time. My eldest daughter Janae danced, competed and was a demonstrator for 14 years before a knee injury did not permit her to dance any longer. My youngest, Darius, at age 3, was just “taking one class” because he wanted to dance like his older sister. Now he’s 16, still dancing while playing football and basketball and holds many dance titles. I never dreamed of being a dance mom this long, but I have no regrets because at CADC everyone is truly a family. Our children have made forever friendships and the parents have too all while being taught the art of dance in the most amazing way. We support each other even outside of dance. The bond created over the many years at CADC is forever unbreakable.
Teresa Fox CADC is an award winning studio with caring and compassionate faculty that encourage students to succeed both on and off the dance floor. They recognize that each student is unique and focus on strengthening their individual talents that when put together collectively create a beautiful mosaic.
Jodi Mattocks Hoover We are starting our 6th year at CADC, and Aleigh’s time there under the care and instruction from the faculty has taken her from a tiny dancer to a graceful young lady! She has made wonderful friendships, learned the value of hard work and commitment, and above all, has gained poise and confidence that will serve her well wherever life may take her. I am thankful to know she is in good hands when she walks in that door every day, and so excited to see what the new dance year brings at Candy Apples!
Julie Mathews Martin Kara starting dancing a older then most of the kids. She was ten when she started. She has been at CADC for 4 years and on the competition team for 3! From the moment she stepped into the studio the instructors here were nothing but encouraging, supportive, and excited for Kara. For myself being a new dance mom I can’t say enough wonderful things about the parents at the studio~ so supportive! Kara has come such a LONG way we can’t believe it. Dance has become her love, passion, and comfort. We owe that to CADC!💜🍎👯
Chella Ulrich Wherley Making the decision to come dance at CADC was one of the best decisions we made . Eva has been in the competition team for 7 years now . The teachers have embraced Eva and have nurtured her love to dance . Eva not only is learning dance but has grown in her self confidence and self esteem . She has made some great friends and we love our dance family . We live out of town and drive 30 minutes to come to dance but seeing how far Eva has grown as a dancer makes it all worth it ! 💚
